Frit (small particles of ground up glass) can be used for a variety of projects. In this one, I filled a dragonfly mold with several different frit colors and types of consistency (powder, fine, medium, etc.) and really loved the end result, particularly the texture from the mold. While visiting my brother one weekend, I asked him to teach me how to make my own wood frame. A few days (and a lot of patience on his end) later, I had a beautiful black walnut frame. This piece now hangs on the wall by my fireplace.
